‘On yer bike’ in Great Dunmow thanks to new signage & routes!

Dunmow Cycle path signage 1

Anna French, Sustainable Energy Officer of Braintree District Council

Following the introduction of cycle hoops (for secure cycle parking) around Great Dunmow Town, R4U Councillor and Chair of the Great Dunmow Town Team Alex Armstrong met up with Anna French, Sustainable Energy Officer of Braintree District Council and Mark Wilson, Energy Officer of UDC to discuss potential routes from Woodlands Park and the surrounding area into Dunmow Town centre.

It is hoped that these routes, with clear signage and pathways will encourage residents to leave the car at home and exercise more!

Have you used the new cycle route? Are you a regular cyclist in Great Dunmow and the surrounding values? We’d love to hear your ideas for expanding the cycle network where you love to live!
