Long-time local resident Amanda Brown is an experienced parish clerk, and town and parish councillor. After bringing up a family and a career at Stansted Airport, she’s retrained as an Corporate Financial Officer and volunteers her time at the Papworth Trust and the Dunmow Day Centre.
“As a councillor I’m already involved in the future of Dunmow and the surrounding villages. I have a particular interest in planning, finance and community facilities. At UDC I want to create an environment for the whole of Uttlesford which everyone can be proud of – especially for our teens. An important part of this is to give residents a stronger voice!” Amanda Brown
