So the council’s strategy for addressing the Planning Inspector’s objections will not be the subject of debate with the council opposition groups and residents. I think that Cllr Rolfe’s statement of intent will render it well nigh impossible for any meaningful engagement with those opposed to the DLP to take place. It seems participation will be on Rolfe’s terms or not at all. Has the council leadership completely lost the ability to comprehend plain English and take in what the inspector has actually said?
