Alex Armstrong: R4U Campaign 2015 picking up the pace!

Marvellous, a quiet time, then, just like buses they all come at once. But I say ‘bring it on’. I’ve been involved in local issues for a long time, but as a recent addition to the R4U prospective candidate team, I’ve become immersed in the 2015 campaign, and it’s certainly picking up the pace.

So far this week:

Tuesday morning: looking forward to meeting up with Councillors and the rest of the prospective
Councillors at Maze cafe in Saffron Walden to discuss our manifesto.

Then home to Great Dunmow for a quick lunch and reading up on the Great Dunmow Traffic management notes ready for a meeting that evening to plan the traffic flow through Great Dunmow. Report to follow.

Wednesday sees all Residents prospective Councillors attending an evening meeting for a presentation from UDC on “How to be a Councillor” interesting on how we will be received, and looking forward to meeting the hard working officers.

Thursday…………….Nothing!…… except emails and research.

Friday, looking forward to the Jazz night and Manifesto Launch at Saffron Walden.

Saturday rest day (I hope)!

Sunday evening there is another Residents meeting in Great Dunmow.

I hope next week gets busy!?
