Interesting to see such a focus in the comments you received from residents on the issue of affordable homes.

I don’t know if you know but here in Gt/Lt Chesterford we have an ‘approved’ application for ‘local needs’ affordable housing within the village development limits on an open market development. 17 units in total, 11 houses and 6 flats. 15 for rent, 2 for shared ownership. It is the New World Timber site on London Road. We cant wait for them to get started.

Interestingly, the huge amount of work over some years to get this local needs housing was undertaken by Joanna Francis and Julie Redfern.

I am sure you will want to join with me in thanking them for their achievements on behalf of the community.
