Colin is a retired Met Police Inspector. He has resided in Uttlesford for almost 25 years. He is the UDC portfolio holder for Communities, Community Safety, and Youth; and the liaison with the Police and Fire Service.

Colin is passionate about ensuring the voices of residents, parish and town councils are heard. Since being elected to the council he has developed a close working relationship with the district police commander and lobbies for a greater presence of uniformed police officers throughout Uttlesford.
