Sharon Morris: I can’t stand by any longer and watch what’s happening to where I live

Hello my name is Sharon Morris.

I have always considered myself to be a fairly ordinary person, if I question the sense in something then I am certain there are many people doing the same thing, and undeniably there have been many things in Saffron Walden and our district over the past few years that I have questioned the sense in!

I decided to stand for election as a District Councillor because I cannot stand by any longer and watch our lovely town being spoilt by poor planning that could have been improved by the application of a little thought, care and common sense. I want Saffron Walden to be the best place to live, work and raise our families in, it can possibly be and for me that means stepping up and deciding that I can influence the shape of our town.

I am excited to be at the beginning of this new journey but I have no doubts that, should you choose to elect me in May 2015, I will be at the start of a very steep learning curve. I can promise you, however, that I will do my absolute best to represent you and your families and I will do my best for Saffron Walden.
