Summary: ECC elections are on 7th May. In Uttlesford it is a two-horse race between Reform UK and R4U. National parties only want to be in power. We want to do more for our fellow residents. Please don’t vote for any national party – please elect us so we can work for better local results.
Two-horse race
Polling surveys currently suggest that Reform UK may replace the Conservatives at ECC. Reform UK has national policies but are uninterested in local matters … and they have an appalling record of infighting, failing to find promised ‘savings’, and putting up council tax wherever they do run local councils.
RESIDENTS difference is clear
By comparison, our track record shows that wherever R4U councillors have been elected, we prioritise local needs … and just get on with making a positive difference for residents. For the ECC elections on 7th May, we are fielding a strong and experienced team of candidates.
At other councils, voting in Reform has created a mess. In Uttlesford polls predict it is neck-and-neck between R4U and Reform UK. That means a vote for Conservatives, Libdems, Green or Labour will only let Reform in. Please love where you live, and vote RESIDENTS to get the best for local residents.

Their record: Reform UK run councils are a disaster
- Infighting and resignations at Kent, and suspensions at many councils
- Promised to cut Council Taxes, then all twelve Reform UK controlled councils increased it
- Closing recycling centres making residents drive miles in Derbyshire
- Scrapped vital climate change work
- Drive division rather than build communities
R4U record: RESIDENTS councils are award-winning
- An approved Local Plan that now limits speculative development for 15 years
- Implementation of innovative Community Infrastructure Levy, that makes developers pay for the things we need
- Sound finances, despite never-ending Government cuts, with new income from investments
- Below the rate-of-inflation tax increases
- New community, sports, and playground facilities
- A strong green agenda
- Reengineered councils that revolve around residents’ needs
- The councils we lead are now all award-winning
Experienced RESIDENTS candidates
