Elect Cllr Sandi Merifield to represent residents of Dunmow North District Ward on 30th July

Retired lecturer and experienced district and parish councillor Sandi Merifield is standing as the Residents for Uttlesford candidate in the upcoming Uttlesford District Council by-election for the Dunmow North Ward on Thursday 30th July. The by-election is being held after the death of long-serving and respected R4U councillor Alex Armstrong.

Petrina Lees, Leader of Uttlesford District Council, said “Sandi and her husband have lived locally for over 30 years, and all three of their children attended Helena Romanes School. She also regularly volunteers, actively supporting our Armed Forces by coordinating the local Poppy Appeal collection – so she knows Dunmow backwards, and what residents want and need. I’ve worked closely with her as a district councillor, and I know she is smart, hard-working, and, experienced. She will support and advocate for local residents. Please elect her so she can do positive work for you.”

About Residents for Uttlesford

Residents for Uttlesford (R4U) is the local independent party of north-west Essex towns and villages. It believes that on local issues residents should decide, not Westminster parties.
