Cllrs Day, Freeman, Lees & Merifield for Sampfords Ward

Following the recent death of our dear colleague Cllr Alan Storah, The Sampfords ward seat is vacant until the government allow elections again. We expect that to be May 2021.

Until then it is important that ward residents have representation from councillors who will handle their issues. Covering a ward can be a large responsibility, and not one that a single councillor can easily pick up along with their own case work – and Alan has big boots to fill. So we’ve mobilised a team of R4U district councillors, one to cover each parish in the ward. We have informed each parish council in the ward about these interim arrangements.
